Wedding at Kinsale Cliffs, Cork

In the picturesque setting of the Cliffs of Kinsale, just a few kilometers from Cork in Ireland, Cherì and Derrick, a couple hailing from the western province of Alberta, Canada, chose to exchange their wedding vows. Surrounded by their close-knit families, they orchestrated a handfasting ceremony against the breathtaking backdrop of the cliffs.

This location holds a special significance, as it immerses you in the sea breeze, enveloped by the cries of seagulls and the soothing sounds of the waves crashing against the towering cliffs. Recounting this day is an emotional journey for me; witnessing the couple, moved and surrounded by their families, created a truly magical atmosphere.

Following the ceremony, the newlyweds and their loved ones ventured to the Speckled Door Pub and Restaurant, a charming establishment nestled just steps away from the cliffs. There, they enjoyed the post-wedding bliss, sipping on Guinness in this historic venue.

There’s truly nothing comparable to the experience of savoring a pint of Guinness in Ireland, surrounded by positive vibes and cherished company in a cozy pub. This, indeed, is Ireland—a land where the beauty of nature seamlessly blends with the warmth of shared moments and the rich taste of a Guinness in a beloved pub.

Cherì and Derrick’s choice to celebrate their union in such a captivating location reflects the essence of their love story, marked by the beauty of two worlds coming together in harmony.
